Naturally occurring tetraploid hosta, native to China.

Notes: Purchased as tiny young plant at local fête in summer 2019. Unlabelled and unknown, till 2021 showing the distinguishable foliage and flower colour. Though why it is also called the blue plantain lily is a mystery since it is a mid-green plant – perhaps it refers to the lovely dark lavender flowers.
