Nemesia ‘Wisley Vanilla’

nemesia ‘Wisley Vanilla’
  • compact plant with dark-green, lance-shaped leaves
  • pink-flushed, white, two-lipped flowers with yellow throats
  • sweetly fragrant
  • late Spring onwards
  • free flowering
  • tender perennial – protect in winter

H 19″
S 19″

full to part sun

well-drained

Notes: Purchased in Spring 2019 – scraped through the winter without protection. A few straggly stems remained but I was not optimistic they would flower much but fully free flowering by summer. Failed to make it through the next winter without the extra protection needed

Remarks: This is the best of the nemesias so I might consider growing again in new garden – the fragrance is heavenly and the blooms are not overly colourful. Can move into the glasshouse over winter
